Berla Mundi seems unaffected by social media trolling over the fake UN award received by herself and other Ghanaian celebrities.
Currently trending on twitter is the fake UN Awards scam with Dr. Kwame Fordjour, a known fraudster, at the helm of it.
Dr. UN, as he is now known, who is behind the lousy award scheme made awardees believe the awards were “UN Kofi Annan Excellence Awards”.
Celebrities and dignitaries like Sarkodie, Johnnie Hughes, Professor Ebenezer Oduro, VC Legon, and Chairman Wontumi were all awarded fake plaques.
Among these celebrities was seasoned media personality Berla Mundi who like a few others took to social media to announce her new feat in a picture with her plaque in hand.
Realizing that the award scheme was not credible, Berla took the post down and has since been trolled by fans on social media as they ridiculed her and the others for not fact-checking the credibility of the scheme.
Meanwhile, the journalist joined the fun in a tweet that read, ”Eeeii so the ‘fake is award’? Akoa yi ay3 madi k3se… Yenko psalm 121”.
Berla was awarded the ”Extraordinary Public Service Achievement of the Decade Award”.
Among these celebrities, Sarkodie is the one dragged the most as fans claim his constant search for validation blinded him from verifying the credibility of the award scheme.
