The former Hearts of Oak attacker, Bernard Don Bortey has pleaded with his former club to settle part of the monies owed him to pay the medical bills of his ailing mother.

According to him, he needs at least GHC 200 to cover the medical bills of his sick mother and has asked Hearts of Oak to come to his rescue.

He has alleged on countless occasions that Hearts of Oak owe him an of GHC 7000, which is a part payment of his signing on fee during the time he played for the side.

All attempts to retrieve the money have failed, but he has stated that he needs at least GHC200 to cover the medical bills of his ailing mother, so the Phobians should safe the situation else there will be the negative consequence on the club.

”I can’t lie against Hearts of Oak, they owe me GH¢7,000 and must pay me before my mother dies else something terrible will happen to the club. At least GHC 200 will help me pay for her medical bills,” he told Happy FM.
