CS Sfaxien was founded in 1928 with the name Club Tunisien. They have been part of the First Division in Tunisia since 1947. They have 8 national league titles, the most recent were won in 2013. They also have 4 national cup wins, the last of which was in 2009.
Internationally they have done very well in recent years. They won the CAF Confederation Cup in 2007, 2008 and 2013. While also successful in the CAF Super Cup they have not won it yet, ending in second place in 2008. 2009 and 2014.
Despite their success, they are currently only the 3rd best football club in Tunisia!
9. Wydad Casablanca – Morocco – 1525 points
Wydad Casablanca was founded in 1939. They have a total of 18 national league titles, the most recent in 2015. They finished in second place another 13 times.
While they have won the national cup 9 times the last time was all the way back in 2001.
Internationally they won the CAF Champions League in 1992 and finished as the runner-up in 2011.
