The Association Sportive Vita Club, its full name, was founded in 1935 and is based in the Stade des Martyrs in Kinshasa. With a capacity of 80,000 it is one of the largest stadiums in Africa.
In total, they have won the national title 13 times, most recently in 2015. They have also won the national cup 9 times. This makes Vita Club one of the most successful Congolese football clubs.
Internationally they have only won the African Cup of Champions in 1973, but they did finish second as recently as 2014.

3. Esperance de Tunis – Tunisia – 1585 points
Founded in 1919, Espérance Sportive de Tunis is based in Tunis. With a total of 26 national league titles and a further 15 national cups, they are arguably the most successful team in Tunisia.
Internationally they have also done very well. They have won the CAF Champions league twice (1994 and 2011). They also won the African Cup Winners’ Cup in 1998, the CAF Super Cup in 1995 (finishing second in 2012), and the CAF Cup in 1995.
