“I was betrayed by my best friend” -Asamoah Gyan reveals

The Captain of the Black Stars and Striker for Kayserispor, Asamoah Gyan has revealed in an interview that his best friend whom he grew up with betrayed him.

Asamoah Gyan who celebrated his birthday yesterday 22nd November and is currently 33 years stated that all allegations levelled against him are false.

All the allegations against me are not true…see 99 per cent of these allegations are not true and those peddling that falsehood against me know extremely well that they are not true. My own friend whom I grew up with has even betrayed me”, he sadly revealed.

The Captain of the Black Stars has been in the news for some time now for seeking a divorce from his wife of 13 years with whom he has three children and also asking for a DNA test to be conducted to determine the real father of his children.

Asamoah Gyan refused to mention the name of his best friend that betrayed him but it is alleged that Dauda is the best friend and also behind Gyan’s marital issues.

Gyan can be regarded as the all-time leading goal-scorer of the Ghana National Team with 51 goals. He began his career in 2003 with Ghanaian Premier League Club Liberty Professionals scoring 10 goals in 16 matches.
