Paa Kwasi of the defunct Music group, Dobble has stated that his being a solo artist has been rewarding and remarkable that when they were the duo and is sure of chalking greater successes soon.
Dobble made up of Paa Kwasi and Enwai collapsed two years ago after they had worked on the ‘Christy’ song. The song was adjudged Most Popular Song of the Year at the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Prior to their split, Dobble released countless hits and performed on several big stages. Some of their hit songs include Walahi Talahi, Good Mood, Adiepena, etc.
Paa Kwasi in an interview on Atinka TV’s Juke Box said his achievement as a solo artist is commendable because he has become a force to reckon with.
“If you’re mentioning top five highlife acts, you can’t leave out Paa Kwasi. That shows how impressive the progress is” he said.
Recounting how he executed his plan, he told the host, Oforiwaa that “when you’re starting, it’d be hard for people to accept what you’re bringing. I called myself established up and coming artiste because I’m not new but I’m starting from a different point. As time goes on, people will get used to it.”
“For me, it has been quicker than I thought. In less than two years, I’ve won awards, been to places. I’m happy as a solo artist because his achievements are bigger than Dobble’s,” He continued.
