The founder and leader of the Glorious Wave Ministry Prophet Badu Kobi have opened up on his desire for worldly songs especially those of self-acclaim Dancehall King Shatta Wale.

In a recent interview on Adom Fm, the Prophet shared his view on worldly songs and how he takes inspirations and messages from them.

“Though people judge me wrongly due to the fact that I love and listens to Shatta Wale’s songs.”

“People think I have fallen from the grace but that is not the case. Christians turn to be one-sided and need to be balanced. What we Christians don’t know and pay much attention to is what carries music and what entails in the production of music.”

In the interview, he states that there are five things that make a complete music and these things can never be overlooked. That is Spirit, Words, Sound, Beats and Purpose.

“It doesn’t matter the genre of song, inspirations can be taken from every song. Some may dance to the beat, others may listen to the words but in all bear in mind that inspirations can still be derived from it”.

“There is this Shatta Wale song that gives me more inspiration and teaches me to move on in life and that is “Bie Gya”.

“Taking Over” is also one of his songs that tells me to take over in life. These are the songs that Christians should listen and take inspiration from it and stop condemning people who listen to such songs”.
