Indeed, it was a tearful moment for family and friends who gathered to mourn with young Kumawood actress, Clara Benson, popularly known as Maame Serwaa.
She lost her mother, Rose Benson, on Thursday, December 7 after a short illness and had the final funeral rites at their family home at Atwima Koforidua, near Assemblies of God Church in the Ashanti Region, yesterday.
The news of her passing undoubtedly brought several Kumawood stars to their home to express their support condolences to the bereaved family.
After Maame Serwaa took to the podium to read an emotional tribute to her late mom, it got to the turn of her colleagues.
Led by actor and the president of Ashanti regional actor’s guild, Bill Asamoah describe the late Benson as a mother they will never forget.
Flanked by other stars like Nana Ama McBrown, Big Akwes, Bernard Aduse Poku etc he added, Madam Rose was a mother for all whom if it wasn’t her effort.
