Yesterday, the Black Stars of Ghana took on the South African national team in the first stage of qualifiers ahead of the 2021 African Cup of Nations.
Ghana won by two goals to nil with goals coming from Thomas Partey and Kudus Mohammed respectively.
After the second goal, a Ghanaian football lover invaded the pitch which disrupted the football match for a few minutes.
The invader was subsequently arrested by the security personnel on sight who whisked him away for the match to continue.
In the video which has since gone viral, one could see the security personnel had a tough time before finally grabbing him.
It has now emerged that the invader is a member of the Central Regional Athletic team, 400m runner precisely and that alone explains his pace and why the police struggled to apprehend him.
According to the Police after the game revealed that the guy told them he wanted a selfie with his idol, Athletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey.
