How Blackstars players reacted to the death of Junior Agogo

News broke out this morning about the death of fmr Ghanaian striker Junior Manuel Agogo who died in a hospital in London.

Since morning tributes from his fans and follows have been flowing on social media with people sharing some fond memories of the football star.

Earlier, general captain of the Blackstars shared a picture of Junior Agogo from the 2008 AFCON campaign and thanked him for all the memories they shared together as players of the National team.

Well, some former teammates of the late footballer have also taken to their social media pages to react to the sudden demise of Agogo.

Dereck Asamoah who was called up to the Blackstars the same time as Junior Agogo also shared a photo with the caption:

“CAN’T BELIEVE I’M WRITING THIS. WAS ONLY A FEW WEEKS AGO YOU BOUGHT COUPLE FRESH BALLERZ TRACKSUITS FROM ME. WE GOT CALLED UP TO THE GHANA NATIONAL TEAM AT THE SAME TIME AND MADE OUR DEBUT FOR OUR COUNTRY TOGETHER. WAS A PLEASURE BEING YOUR ROOMMATE AND PLAYING ALONGSIDE YOU BROTHER. I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS SAD NEWS. YOUR MEMORIES WILL ALWAYS BE THERE TO FILL THE VOID YOU HAVE LEFT BRO, I WISH YOUR SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE. ? #RIP @JUNIORAGOGO”
