Ghanaian musician cum radio presenter Mzbel real name Belinda Nana Akua Amoah has made a comment to debunk reports that her affiliation with the National Democratic Congress political party tainted her brand.
According to the “16 years” singer, she has lost some fans, businesses and other things because she was at the forefront of the campaigns for the then governing party which lost the 2016 elections to the current New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Responding to a question from Zionfelix as to why she has been conspicuously missing from the system, the musician could not help but divulge her frustration “Yes, the party I have registered as a member and sang for them in 2016 has affected what I do…my own party. People are like you are a celebrity and you are not supposed to be vocal about the party you love. Others may ignore it and take precautions but others may not”

The 39-year-old singer in an Instagram post has revealed that she hasn’t lost anything from supporting her own party and added that whatever she is going through is only deliberate sabotage but she cares less about.
“I DIDNT LOOSE SHIT FOR SUPPORTING MY OWN POLITICAL PARTY!!! I WAS BORN NDC AND WILL REMAIN NDC TILL I DIE! EVERYTHING I’M GOING THROUGH RIGHT NOW IS A DELIBERATE SABOTAGE BUT I DONT GIVE A 4K! STFU!” she wrote on Instagram.

In the same interview with ZionFelix, she revealed that though her cash is locked up with Menzgold, she is unfazed by it and will still invest in Menzgold if it bounces back and starts operations.
According to her, she does not see Nana Appiah Mensah, the embattled CEO as scammer as people are saying but he is a genuine business who has just had a misfortune with his business.
