Boxer Bukom Banku Goes Into Hiding After Court Issues Bench Warrant For His Arrest

Ghanaian boxer Bukom Banku is reported to have gone into hiding after an Accra circuit court issued a bench warrant for his arrest.

The boxer who was initially in court and was granted bail but then absconded and despite a bench warrant for his arrest, the police have been unable to trace him.

Bukom Banku has for some time now not been going to the court making the judge issue a bench warrant for his arrest. Since then the Police have been finding it difficult to locate the boxer as all their effort in locating him have proved futile.

Banku is facing charges of assault, causing unlawful damage and causing harm and with his current decision to go into hiding, we believe he could face more charges if and when he’s eventually found.
