The boxer is paying the price for not being able to control his anger. He has been outlawed from all boxing activities by The Ghana Boxing Authority a few days ago after the video that captured him aggressively assaulting one Michael Siaw a Kotoko fan at Accra sports stadium surfaced online.

By reports, Allotey has been granted GH¢100,000 bail with three sureties(guarantors who earn not less than GH¢1500 a month and must be public servants) after he was charged with assault at an Accra Circuit Court on Monday presided over by Mrs. Evelyn Asamoah.

The boxer appeared calm and wore a face of contrition. His face, however, brightened up after his request for bail was granted by the court. But, there was no sight of the victim at the court premises.

The court as part of the conditions for the bail instructed Allotey to submit his passport. The document will be in the possession of the court throughout the court process.

Patrick Allotey as part of his bail conditions has also been told to report to the court and police every Wednesday. The case was adjourned to  February 25, 2020.
