A tragic wedding incident occurred in Accra, Ghana after newly wedded couple on their way to their wedding reception crashed resulting in the death of the groom whiles the bride fell into a coma.
On early yesterday morning, Sunday 30th September 2018, Disu Kamaru and Janatil Firdaws Yakubu held their Islamic wedding. Islamic Clerics were present to perform the required rites to pronounced Disu Kamaru and Janatil Firdaws Yakubu husband and wife at Adenta in Accra.

After the first ceremony, Bride, groom and the guests were supposed to gather at the Africana Guest House opposite TF Hostel at Atomic Junction where the reception was supposed to take place.
The newly wedded couple and their friends left Adenta in a convoy towards the wedding reception. One of the cars that attempted to overtake another fatally crashed into the vehicle carrying the bride and groom.

The newly wedded couple, Disu Kamaru and Janatil Firdaws Yakubu were rushed to the Legon Hospital but the groom was pronounced dead whiles the bride was in a coma.
What was supposed to be the happiest day for both families rather turned into mourning for the families. The Reception venue was turned into mourning grounds for the guests who were there to support their loved ones.
Per the Islamic tradition, Disu Kamaru will be laid to rest today whiles family members are taking care of the bride at the hospital.
