Ghanaian boxer Brimah Kamoko, popularly known as Bukom Banku is in police custody for assaulting an Assemblyman whose name has been given as Zaid.
The unfortunate incident happened Monday, during an Easter party in James Town. Mr Zaid reported the incidence to the James Town Police Station on Tuesday, leading to the arrest of Bukom Banku.
According to reports, Bukom Banku has been transferred to Central Police cells and he has already spent a night there.
This is not the first time the cruiserweight boxer has been arrested by the police for assault. In March 2016, Braimah Kamoko was detained by the Accra Central Police for allegedly assaulting his cousins.
