Bukom Banku wants to go back to school
The boxer on Tuesday told Jay Foley and Jeremie on LIVE FM’s morning show Live Breakfast Club that he dropped out of school to pursue his boxing career and after achieving some fame and fortune from the trade, he was now ready to go back to school.
Kamoko has been in the news lately, largely for his free-for-all social media antics and support for the out-gone National Democratic Congress.
Often, his clear lack of ample hold of the English is questioned, but also admired in some quarters. The former, he told Jay Foley and Jeremie, he’s ready to make better.
“I am going back to school; i am going to Accra Royal in Jamestown and ready to start from Form 1. Education is very important and i don’t joke with that. I admire people who pursue education and that is what i want to do.”
Speaking about his family , the boxer has ten children with different women, and has vowed to put them through an appreciable level of education and adding that “i don’t want them to become boxers.” .And why he doesn’t want them to be boxers is a reason best known to him.
