Ever since the brouhaha between the late Ebony Reigns’ father and her manager, Bullet started, I have been following the conversation and frankly speaking it’s sickening some of the arguments put out by Bullet supporters.
Prominent in the arguments being put forward is the statement that Bullet made Ebony who she. According to the critics of Nana Opoku Kwarteng, nobody would have known Ebony Reigns had it not been Bullet’s efforts. In short, they say Bullet made her so he should shut up!.
Such a statement is as silly as it sounds and you wonder why people indulge in such arguments. Bullet never made Ebony! It was a simple mutual beneficial partnership; plain and simple!.
Let me explain:
Beyond the Ruff and Smooth fame, very few people knew who Bullet was. Yes, their brand was huge back in the day but don’t kid yourself. Ruff and Smooth was a dead group that could only boast of past glories.
Let me bring it a little closer home. Even some of us the grown folks who know about Ruff and Smooth, ask yourself; how many knew Bullet? Very very few. Don’t kid yourself, it’s the basic truth.
Bullet somewhere around 2014-2015 decided to start a record label and he was gracefully introduced to a young talented lady called Pricilla Opoku Kwarteng.
Both Pricilla and Bullet put out the good work and at the long run, not only Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng is famous, the manager and CEO of the record label who was barely known is now regarded as one of the finest artist managers in Africa.
Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng did not come and waste the investment of Bullet, She actually harnessed her skills to ensure the investment do not go to waste. She ended up not putting just her name alone on the globe, she added that of Bullet, her manager.
Yet somehow you actually think Bullet made Ebony? You must be joking. Do you know how much thousands of dollars Nana Appiah Mensah, the CEO Zylofon has poured into the career of Obibini and other artists at Zylofon Media? How many hit songs do you hear from some of them? If you think investment alone makes an artist a star, ask Nana Appiah Mensah how many superstars he has at his Zylofon Media.
So don’t sit there and ignorantly rant that Bullet made Ebony. She didn’t come there with her stomach and her p*ssy alone. She came with talent and she worked hard for it! Let’s face the fact and cut the bullsh*t; BULLET SHOULD BE GRATEFUL HE MET EBONY…THAT IS A FACT!!
Let me touch on another troubling statement being made by supporters of Ricky Nana Agyemang aka Bullet. People are telling Ebony’s father to shut up and move on because Bullet has moved on. How do some people reason?
Bullet lost a client and he has replaced her. He even did not replace her with some of the artists who were already signed unto the record label at the time of Ebony’s death, Some even through her recommendation like Brella. He moved outside the label and signed Wendy Shay (An unknown nurse from Germany).
In fact, he replaced her barely a month after she died. But Nana Opoku Kwarteng lost a daughter he can never replace no matter what he does. Allow the man to talk if he thinks somethings did not and is not going on well. He has lost a daughter he can never get back.
