Last Saturday was the burial for the late Willie Roi who was the A&R for Zylofon media and a strong supporter of Shatta Movement boss Shatta Wale.
Family, Fans and loved ones of the Zylofon media panelist who were gathered at his funeral got the surprise of their lives when Shatta Wale who was in Ghana and Accra to be precise failed to come for the funeral.

After the burial, Arnold Mensah Elevanyo called the self-acclaimed dancehall king on phone and asked why he failed to show up at the final funeral rites for his biggest fan in the industry.
According to Shatta Wale, since the 3Music Awards was happening that evening he had to go for rehearsals that was why he failed to come for the funerals.

He noted that he doesn’t care about what people would say about him because God knows his heart that he loves Willi Roi so much just that the work didn’t permit him to be at his funeral.
Shatta also added that if Willi Roi were alive, he’ll understand well for him because he understands how this work goes.
The Kakai hitmaker also gave an example of late Hiplife musician, Terry Bon Chaka. He said that the late musician helped him but he wasn’t at his funeral. But he makes sure that every year, he goes to his grave to pay his respect.
