A few days after senior presenter with Multimedia Group, Kwadwo Asare Baffuor Acheampong aka KABA died, his colleague, Captain Smart revealed that before KABA died, he was owing Erata Motor $10,000 for a car he purchased on credit.
This news brought unrest since people sympathized with the wife about how she will manage to pay off the credit. Some even proposed the government should step in and make payment on behalf of the widow.
But Captain Smart later added that the owner of Erata Motors has confided in him that, he was no longer interested in taking the money from the widow and KABA’s family.

But in a quick turn of events, Mr. Ankoma, the boss of Erata Motors speaking with Starrfmonline has revealed that there is no iota of truth in what Captain Smart said on air.
According to the boss of Erata Motors, KABA paid for the cost of the car he bought while he was alive and he didn’t owe them. He added that KABA was a very good customer of the company.
He also stated that nowhere has he told Captain Smart that KABA owes the company before dying and that he has decided to let go of the credit.
This begs the question; Why did Captain Smart of Adom FM lie against the dead?
