7. Komla Dumor

Komla Dumor shot to fame as the morning show host for Joy FM in Accra and was the 2003 Journalist of the Year. As at the time of his death, He was a newsreader on BBC World News, the only West African to have achieved that height. He suffered a cardiac arrest in his London home on January 18, 2014. Rest in peace Komla Dumor.
