Gospel musician Celestine Donkor has for the first time won a VGMA award after been in the music industry for over 10 years.
The gospel musician at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2021 took home the award for the Best Female vocalist with her ‘Agbebolo’ song.
In her acceptance speech, she stated that she has been at the awards night for a quite number of years and all she gets is to see people walk up the stage to pick up their awards.
She continued that she never expected to go home with an award at this year’s event but here she is boosting about winning a VGMA award.
Celestine Donkor used the opportunity to thank God for how far he has brought her in the industry.
