Comfort Tawiah, 30, is fighting for her life after her jealous boyfriend poured acid on her over alleged infidelity issues.
The incident occurred in the Central Region at Awutu Bawjiase.
According to Citi News, the boyfriend, Ishmael Atsito Agbeshie, accused his girlfriend of cheating on him.
According to the victim, Comfort Tawiah, who told Citi News about the incident, her lover falsely accused her.
She explained that they have had heated arguments in the past about infidelity and their son’s upkeep.
According to her, her boyfriend took her phone on Tuesday and began calling male contacts in an attempt to determine which of them she was having an affair with.
Finally, the boyfriend poured a substance that appeared to be acid on her.
The victim was partially blinded and had parts of her body damaged as a result of the incident.
Helena Mensah, the victim’s mother, is concerned about her daughter’s health.
Meanwhile, the heinous crime’s perpetrator, Ishmael Agbeshie, is on the run following the incident.
