Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako popularly called Chairman Wontumi in an interview with host Paul Adom Otchere on ” Good Evening Ghana ” on Thursday 6th February disclosed how he made $1m in a day in mining.

According to the strong man of NPP, he made millions from his mining duties during the time of the reign of NPP until when Ex-president John Dramani Mahama(J.M) collapsed his business.
The CEO of Hansol Company Ltd stated that during those times his company was one of the fast-rising and successful Mining company in the Western Region of Ghana.
He recounted instances where the ex-president Mahama offered him sugar-coated opportunities to deliberate on issues surrounding his mining activities because other officials who were then in power were stirring up plans to collapse his company and to ditch NPP for NDC but he subtly ignored those advances he was offered.
The NPP’s bigger figure also set a new record on TV during his interview session with host Paul Adom Otchere. As of an hour and a half into the discussion, 5700 viewers had visited their Facebook page to watch him which overtook that of Shatta Wale’s 3,200 views record.
