Bernard Antwi Bosiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has passionately pleaded with the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo to make sure former President John Dramani Mahama is imprisoned for presiding of numerous corruption scandals during his administration.

Charmain Wontumi’s calls for Mahama’s imprisonment started when the former leader of the National Democratic Congress described the recently launched Ghanapost GPS system under President Akufo-Addo, as ‘419’ scam.

According to JM, the Akufo-Addo and his Vice President Dr. Bawumia has duped Ghanaians to the tune of GHS 15 Million by selling to Ghanaians a software that is already freely available on the internet.

But speaking to Peace Fm, Chairman Wontumi wondered why someone who presided over unprecedented corruption could have the confidence to accuse this administration of being corrupt.

He appealed to President Akufo-Addo to jail Former President Mahama for corruption. He said:

“He should be jailed by now”. “John Mahama is corrupt and that is his track record. He was asked to step down by voters because he is corrupt and he wants to throw that senseless argument at us”,

“Has Mahama forgotten about the bus branding? Does he need a reminder? Has he forgotten about GYEEDA and Subah? Has he forgotten about the Ford gift he took as a bribe from the foreign contractor? Has Mahama just forgotten about the bogus contracts he was signing when he was in power? The list is endless and I can go on and on” Wontumi concluded.
