[Photos] Chelsea fan stabbed to death in Ghana during UEFA Champions League

One person has been stabbed to death after an argument broke out on the performance of Chelsea defender David Luiz during Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid.

Deco a talented footballer and a staunch supporter of Chelsea football club was stabbed to death by Moneymaker Oluman and Baba Ali at Akweteman Zongo, a suburb in Accra after a debate over the showing of Brazilian defender degenerated into a fight.

According to eyewitnesses, Deco the Chelsea fan was arguing with the other two that David Luiz is a very good player irrespective of his poor performance this football season.

The witnesses further revealed that the two murderers who are currently in the wind took offense with the stands of Deco. A quarrel broke out and the people present cooled them down and separated the scuffle.

Unknown to Deco the Chealse Fan, Moneymaker Oluman and Baba Ali left the game center and went home to bring a knife and baseball bat.

The two attacked the Chelsea fan while the game was ongoing. Deco was stabbed twice in the neck and also sustain injuries from the attack from the baseball bat.

Deco was rushed to the hospital and was pronounced dead upon arrival. Moneymaker Oluman and Baba Ali have absconded and are currently on the wanted list of the Akweteman police.
