Following the gruesome murder of Mr. Ahmed Hussein-Suale, Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service has invited the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Honorable Kennedy Agyapong for questioning in relation to the murder.
According to the police, every person related to the murder of Ahmed will be invited and questioned until they unravel the mystery of the killing of the private investigator.
Mr. Ahmed Hussein-Suale, a member of the Tiger Eye PI headed by the ace journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas was shot dead on Wednesday, 16th January 2019 at Madina, Accra.
He was shot twice in the chest and one in the neck in his car by unknown assassins on a motorbike late yesterday. Ahmed is the first known partner of Anas who has been gruesomely murdered.
When the news broke, many Ghanaians attacks and accused of Kennedy Agyapong of either being behind the killing or to be blamed for the killing.
At the peak of Kennedy Agyapongs banter with Anas, Kennedy Agyapong exposed Ahmed as someone who works with Anas, showed his pictures to the world and even showed where he stays, Madina.
He didn’t end there; he encouraged Ghanaians to beat Ahmen when they find him at his (Ken) work premises and he will deal with it when an issue comes up. Indirectly he placed a bounty on the head of Ahmed.
Reacting to these allegations from Ghanaians on social media, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong stated his innocence in an interview on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’.
He denied categorically being behind the death of Ahmed and stated Ahmed had done nothing against him to merit such an unfortunate attack.
Kennedy Agyapong said:
“A friend called to tell me that there is something trending on social media that I engineered the killing of one Ahmed. First of all, the guy has never offended me in any way,” he said.
“When I premiered the ‘Who watches the watchman’ at Oman FM premises, I was told that I know Ahmed very well because he has been coming to my station for money. So I ordered them to stop him [Ahmed] from coming there and ‘beat the hell out from him’ because he can fix secret cameras around. This is what I said,” the controversial lawmaker told the host, Kwesi Aboagye in the interview.
