The protests against the parliament’s decision to cancel their plans to build a new parliament chamber has garnered a lot of attention.

Reacting to this, Actress Lydia Forson has added her voice to the many citizens criticising the project. She has slammed politicians in a post on Twitter.
According to Lydia, aside the issue of the chamber, Citizens are unable to trust politicians and the government as they have been making wrong policies since time immemorial.

Expressing her opinion she wrote;
“Trust me, #DropThatChamber goes beyond people’s anger over the construction of a new parliament.
There’s a deep-seated distrust for politicians and the government as a whole right now.
This is just an ignition to a fire that’s been brewing for several months.“
