According to a video sighted on social media, a Reverend father got so furious and slapped a woman who was caught stealing money from the offertory bowl in the church.
The Nigerian lady who later showed remorse and ashamed after she was caught in the act was seen handing back the monies she took from the bowl.
Perhaps, after catching her the father should have probably forgiven and withheld the slaps, unfortunately for the lady, upon all the disgrace, she got slaps and beatings in front of some members of the church.
Some individuals will also say it is not appropriate for the father to beat and slap her like that because she is a woman and as a father, he should forgive.
We suppose the father was outraged and couldn’t hold his rage but had to react or has anger issues.
Well, regardless, the bible states that if you spare the rod, you spoil the child, even though the lady does not fit into the ‘Child’ category, perhaps her act was too childish to deserve slaps.
