Self-acclaimed Dancehall King Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has stated that he would only have a collaboration with Uptown Energy boss Yaa Pono on one condition.
Shatta Wale in an interview on Happy FM with DJ Adviser stated that his condition for the collaboration to come to light is if his arch-enemy Yaa Pono is ready to pay any amount he charges.

“If only he can pay, cos this is business. Yaa Pono has taken the game someway. Yaa Pono is a good artiste but he needs to know much business,” Shatta Wale said.
Shatta Wale and Yaa Pono became musical enemies after they both recorded a diss song against each other. With no criteria for voting some Ghanaian declared Yaa Pono the winner of the beef after he dropped his “Gbee Nabu” diss track.
Shatta Wale in an earlier interview after his beef with Yaa Pono stated that the beef between them was a planned one.

“With beefs, I feel we should put things on the table and plan… even with my recent beef with Yaa Pono, I called him personally and told him how things should go but people think I thrive off controversies.”
Asked if his feud with Samini was planned, he said: “Samini and I didn’t plan the beef, later on I met him and told him, I did all that for us to make some money from our beef… If he had understood me from the beginning we would have made some good money.”
