Gospel musical duo Tagoe Sisters consisting of twins Lydia Dedei Yawson Nee Tagoe and Elizabeth Korkoi Tagoe in an appearance on Kingdom+ 101.9 FM in Accra revealed that a colleague musician took one of them to Juju and got sick for 8 months.

Lydia Dedei Yawson Nee Tagoe (the elder) giving her account on the bad experience said somewhere last year after they had finished recording a very powerful song at the studio and were moving back home unfortunately stumbled.
That was it, she twisted one of her legs and a few minutes after, it got swollen that she couldn’t do anything, it took the intervention of her twin Elizabeth Korkoi Tagoe that day to help her to the house.
Narrating further, Lydia said she went through hell for solid 8 months after she just stumbled, something that shouldn’t have worsened to that state.
She revealed that shortly after she was relieved of the pain in the leg, her hands followed. It swelled to the point where she couldn’t do anything. According to her, this happened when they were to shoot a music video of one of their current releases.

This revelation came to light following a question by the host of the Afrojoint show on Kingdom FM, Fiifi Pratt. He asked if there are juju in the gospel music.
