Counsellor George Lutterodt has waded in on the slew of criticism that have greeted Nana Ama McBrown’s confirmation of undergoing a liposuction procedure on live TV.
The actress and TV host opened up about going under the knife and explained the reason behind her seemingly new figure on United Showbiz, after months of speculations.
Nana Ama denied having done cosmetic surgery to enhance her bum and breast. She said she only got rid of unwanted fat that had sagged her stomach but many are still not convinced.
Speaking on the Best Entertainment Show on Okay FM, the controversial and outspoken marriage coach said those jabbing Nana Ama are shrouded in a poverty mentality.
“Nana Ama has been insulted because of poverty. The poverty mentality and fear are killing many people. The fear that if I touch my buttocks or breasts I will get cancer has been planted in our mindset.“
Counselor Lutterodt said that those speaking against Nana Ama’s move to have her figure reshaped would have done the same thing if they have the resources, intimating that incapacitated people always find faults in everything others do.
“If you check very well, what Nana Ama has done, which is liposuction, has nothing to do with her buttocks or anything else. It’s just removing excess fat from her stomach or reshaping the system to get realignment. It has made her shape firmer than before,” he told the host Halifax on Okay FM.
In medical terms, a liposuction cosmetic procedure involves sucking out small areas of fat that are hard to lose through exercise and a healthy diet.
Responding to the criticism from netizens Nana Ama said: “I have done lipo and I have not done any other thing. I have not done my bum. I have the right to do anything to my body and I have the right to tell you or not but God is my witness… I went to the right place and suck the fats out; when you do that and if you have a very good shape, you will get a very good shape. No tummy tuck, I can give birth again.“
She continued: “I will be 45 in a few days and this is not the time to lie. Truthfully, I won’t sit here and lie. I won’t go and do liposuction and come and sit here and lie that I dieted No…! I did my lipo in a way that I can give birth again.“
