A Female court clerk/interpreter who was identified as Namuwanga Rosemary has faced a serious problem as she incurred to herself the wrath of judicial authorities after she appeared in the courtroom dressed provocatively.
According to a report from the Permanent Secretary Ugandan, Mrs. Josephine Mawunge, Rosemary has been suspended for two maximum weeks with no payment of salary as her dressing appeared unethical in the face of the Ugandan Judiciary.
Mrs. Rosemary was issued with a suspension letter which explained all the charges and her suspension terms and conditions.
“This is to inform you that on the 21st September, 2017, while you were invited to the Permanent Secretary of the judiciary for an explanation regarding the nonpayment of your salary and allowances, for the month of July 2017, you turned up dressed in a manner that does not portray the good image of the judiciary and the public at large”, her suspension letter stated.
“In particular, you were dressed in a very short and tight dress which by description does not fall within the generally acceptable standards of the establishment notice”, it further explained.
