The woes of the Member of Parliament for Nhyieaso Dr Stephen Amoah seems to be getting more serious as the La magistrate court has issued a bench warrant for his arrest.
Earlier Ghpage.com reported that the politician had been arrested for a traffic offence by personnel of the Ghana Police Service.
He was due to report to court this today but he failed to show up leading to the court issuing this order.
The Nhyieaso MP wasn’t the only offender who failed to appear before the court as one other man identified as Samuel Anim failed to show up.
The MP was arrested today with five others for flaunting traffic regulations.
The four suspects namely Daniel Boating, Dominic Atuahene-Ababio, Emmanuel Kofi Ofori and Joseph Brown showed up in court and were sentenced to pay a fine of One thousand right hundred Ghana cedis (1,800) or in default serve 3 months in prison.
