The lockdown however necessary seems not to favour the masses whose main source of income is trade, thus requiring them to go out daily to transact their businesses. Now, due to the lockdown, many residents of the state currently do not have a source of income. They look up to the government to cater for their daily needs, however the palliative measures being applied by the state government to cushion the effect of the lockdown seems not to be working as life is becoming unbearable due to escalating cost of food items.
