Yesterday, the Government of Ghana led by the Vice-President Alhaji Bawumia launched the COVID-19 app an application to help in tracing people believe to have come in connection with a positive Coronavirus patient.

The likes of Shatta Wale, Kuami Eugene, Bukoum Banku and co were the guest artistes at the launch and they perform at a virtual concert.

Days before the launch of the application, it emerged that the said artistes were billed to perform which made Ghanaians on social media angry asking why they would have to have a concert before a common application is launched.

The government in its reaction made it clear that the artistes billed to perform were not going to be paid and that they were just going to perform for free.

But according to a social media user with the handle Kofi Bamfo on Facebook, that was a lie as a fight broke out in the studios of GhOne TV over payment between artistes yesterday.

In a comment section, the user revealed that some artistes got furious with the organizers of the virtual concert after they paid Shatta Wale Ghc 100,000 and they receiving Ghc 40,000.

He added that those money paid to the musicians as perfomance fees could have be used to acquire PPEs and other related stuff in battling the coronavirus.

When another user expressed his doubt on the information he gave out, he responded by saying he has a source in the studios at that moment and Ghanaians would soon hear about the fight and money payment.
