3. If your leg itches, it means you have a visitor waiting in your absence.

This is a polite way our parents employ to excuse themselves from a company. If they have been with a company for a while, instead of saying they want to leave, the tell their company their leg is itching implying they probably have a visitor waiting for them so they have to leave. Clever right?
