CTV journalist, Kwame Tutu breaks the internet with his #trashtagchallenge

The host of “Ghana Kasa” on CTV, Kwame Tutu has joined the #trashtagchallenge by cleaning a refused dumped at Akufo-Addo roundabout near Togo Embassy at Cantonment, Accra.

According to Kwame Tutu who is also the social media campaigner against poor sanitation with the hashtag #CleanGhanaNow when he saw that uncollected rubbish he couldn’t drive by despite the fact that he was on his way to work early in the morning.

As a citizen and not a spectator, he got down from his car, got all the needed tools and cleaned the area as expected of any patriotic Ghanaian.

He posted photos of the before and after the cleaning with the #trashtagchallenge to show Ghanaians a clean society is possible.

Kwame Tutu posted:

Going to work this morning, I saw a pile of refuse left uncollected in the Akufo Addo roundabout near Togo Embassy at cantonment-Accra. As a social media campaigner against poor sanitation with the hashtag #CleanGhanaNow, I have adopted and joined the worldwide campaign #trashtagchallenge, which places responsibility on citizens across the globe to identify and clean a filthy area, take before and after photos and post them on social media. This morning I cleaned the Akufo Addo roundabout of uncollected garbage. Let’s show the way.
