Daddy Lumba Pro Max: Kantanka’s family fights dirty over his funeral

The family of the late Kantanka has divulged that things aren’t the same as they appear on the surface when it comes to the final funeral rites of the late famous Ghanaian inventor and businessman.

After Adwoa Sarfo had spoken during a press conference earlier today, May 29, the staunch member of the New Patriotic Party hinted that the final burial of her late father would take place in Gomoa Mpota on July 30.

However, she shared that the Thanksgiving service of her late father would be held in the Ashanti region, explaining that her late dad was a true Ashanti.

“For the Thanksgiving service, we shall have it in Kumasi since my father is an Ashanti and a true blood of the Ashanti region,” she said, adding that “We will go have the church service in the Ashanti region”.

Speaking on the venue among other relevant pieces of information, Adwoa Sarfo said “and the funeral committee is still working out the venue. At the appropriate time, we will put that venue out for everybody”.

Akofena, the son of the late pastor took to his official Instagram page to also share that the final funeral is slated for June 25, 2026, a date that contradicts that of her sister.

On his part, Dr. Philip Kissi Siaw, a co-chairman of the funeral committee disclosed that “when apostle Kwadwo Sarfo was alive, he stated that if he passed away, he should not be kept in a morgue for a long period of time, and that, no autopsy should be conducted on his body. However, after his death, Adwoa Sarfo was the one who arranged for his body to be placed in a morgue. To this day, we do not know where the body is being kept”.

He added that “when we asked her, she told us that President Mahama had provided a place in the mortuary for the body to be kept. Can you imagine that Adwoa Sarfo does not even go there to check on the body?”
