A practice they say makes one perfect. 5-year old Daniel Larbi who resides in Bukom, a popular boxing area in the suburb of Accra has the wish to become the finest boxers Ghana has ever produced.

The young boy whose passion for boxing grew barely months ago was spotted at the Napo Boxing Arena engaging in hard training with his coach. He trains every day after school and on weekends as well.

Daniel Baffoe Larbi who doubles as his trainer and biological father sees him as a future king of boxing thus trains him as such.

Narrating what inspired his son, Mr Baffoe Larbi said:
“I was trained by the Late Napoleon Tagoe, he met me one day and invited me to the arena. I took my son along and the moment we got there, he took boxing gloves and started jogging around. I told him to stop but he obliged. Several attempts on many occasions to make him stop proved futile”.

“I see that fighting spirit in him so I had to allow him to do what he wishes to be in the near future so I have sorted to help in any way possible”.
