The comparison between the late dancehall sensation, Ebony Reigns and newly signed artiste on Rufftown Records, Wendy Shay keeps becoming a subject whenever one of them is mentioned.
Ebony Reigns left her mark in the music industry though she only enjoyed just two years of mainstream entertainment.

CEO of Rufftown Records, Ricky Nana Agyeman aka Bullet, revealed a new female talent signed to his record label at this year’s VGMA where the late Ebony won Artist of the Year.
After this announcement by Bullet, Ebony’s dad expressed disappointment in Bullet for unveiling a new barely weeks after the demise of his daughter which he deemed it unprofessional.

Since then there have been constant attacks on Bullet over monetary issues concerning Ebony’s Tribute Concert.
Well, in a video, monitored by Ghpagee.com, father of the late dancehall artist was asked if Rufftown’s new signee, Wendy Shay is a better artist than her daughter and his reply was that Wendy could be better than Ebony but only time will tell but to be equal to her is not possible.
He further advised Wendy Shay to work hard on her talent and things will work out great for her.
