Multimillionaire Afrobeats star David Adeleke, known by his stage name Davido, has finally shipped down his brand new 2021 Rolls Royce Cullinan he purchased in May this year.

The luxurious vehicle which is worth about GHC2.7 million ($450,000) landed on the shores of Nigeria a number of days ago, according to insider reports.

The Nigerian-American singer took to Instagram to share photos of his brand new car when he purchased it from an automobile dealership in the United States earlier this year.

The vehicle had been left in a garage awaiting shipment to the West African country due to challenges and high shipping fees at Nigeria’s port.

Davido’s lawyer Bobo Ajudua sparked rumours that the singer’s much-anticipated 2021 Rolls Royce Cullinan had arrived in Lagos after he posted a photo of the luxury ride on his Instagram story on Thursday.

The 32-year-old celebrity lawyer captioned his post: “This December get as e be.”

Davido on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, tweeted asking his friends to send him N1 million each if he had given them hit songs on collaboration and gave details of a new Nigerian bank account.

He joked that he needed the money to clear his Rolls-Royce from the port when it arrives Nigeria. His goal was to hit 100 million naira, which equals over $242,000 USD, but he surpassed that amount crossing over N200 million ($400,000).

In a statement Saturday, November 20, Davido disclosed that he will donate the money raised from the social media fundraiser to orphanages across Nigeria.

Davido noted that he would add N50m to the donation to bring it to N250m.
