Nigerian singer David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has written an emotional tribute to tearfully mourn his late friend and confidante Obama DMW.
Obama DMW died on June 29, 2021, in a hospital in Lekki after he had complained of a suspected heart attack.
In a lengthy tribute, the music star described late Obama DMW as his backbone and someone who was more to him than an elder brother.
Months after the burial, Davido has taken to Instagram to write an emotional message in honor of Obama DMW’s memory.
Davido captioned a photo of DMW, whom he often referred to as 44, “44love and miss you.”
Davido’s words demonstrate how much he missed his late friend.
Meanwhile, it should be noted that Obama DMW is Davido’s second close associate to pass away in the last year.
Davido’s bodyguard Tijani Olamilekan aka TeeJay died in December 2020 after a battle with illness, and the famous singer lost three friends in one week in October 2017.
