New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary aspirants for Ajumako Enyam Essiam constituency, Elisha Debrah Odoom who made the news for sharing some saloon cars to convince delegates to vote for him.
But the primaries which came off yesterday saw Elisha Debrah’s hopes of becoming an MP fade away as his car gift wasn’t enough to make him win the elections.
According to a source, he promised to donate each of the branded cars to the 10 Zones in the constituency and the remaining one to the constituency office to ensure the effective running of party activities.
But after things took turns, he went back to claim his cars and othered that all the cars be loaded on a trailer and driven to his residence.
“The delegates were shocked when Elisha Debrah Odoom after the results were announced ordered that the cars be carted back to whereever he brought them from. The delegates were thinking that he could have donated at least just one of the vehicles to the party office to show his love for the party but he didn’t do that,” Kasapa FM’s Reporter Yaw Boagyan who covered the election reported.
