Today Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy called off their long-standing rivalry and smoked the peace pipe much to the pleasure of Ghanaians, as it has been long overdue.

It is no news that the two dancehall acts have been arch enemies. Over the years, they have constantly thrown jabs at each other and recorded diss songs to spite one another.
Their enmity reached it’s climax during the recently held VGMA when Shatta Wale and his militants stormed unto the stage as Stonebwoy was receiving his award; the reggae/dancehall artiste of the year.

This led to the infamous VGMA brouhaha where Stonebwoy pulled a gun resulting in pandemonium in the auditorium.
Thankfully, it is now a thing of the past as the duo have made peace. Reacting to this, several celebrities have expressed their delight towards this development.
Sarkodie, Mr Eazi, Nana Aba, Efya, Medikal, Falz, Kwaw Kese and a host of other celebrities did not hide their joy about the duo burying their hatchet, they praised both parties for doing the needful.
