Despite Group denies buying apartment for woman assaulted by police

Despite Group of Companies headed by Dr. Osei Kwame Despite has denied rumors flying around that the Despite Group has purchased an apartment and a shop for the woman who was assaulted by a police officer a few days ago at a banking hall.

One thing that has been prominent in the discussion of the donations that has come the way of Madam Patience Safo since she was assaulted at the Misland Savings and Loans by a police officer, Frederick Amanor, is the supposed apartment and shop that the Despite Group has bought for her.

According to the reports, she has received over GHS40,000 cash in donations, an apartment and a shop from the Despite Group.

Prophet Nigel Gaisie has also pledged to fund the tuition of her children from now till they complete the University.

But reacting to these rumors, Despite Group has denied buying an apartment and a shop for Madam Patience Asafo and her children.

However, the company has revealed that they have given her GHS2000 for her medical bills and another GHS5000 to cater for herself and her children.

The company has also pledged to do everything within their power to make Madam Patience Safo and her 3 children and one grandchild comfortable.
