We reported on 1st May of how GhOne’s Nana Aba Anamoah deleted a photo of herself and her son from her social media pages after one Richard Brown has uploaded the image and captioned it “Daddy luvs u so much my son. God knows I really do son” revealing the longtime hidden father of Paa Kow[Nana Aba’s son].

She once admitted in 2016 that she got pregnant when she was in Senior High School and stated that she does not want to talk about the man.

It was also reported Richard Brown’s side of the whole baby-daddy saga where he claimed he did not decide to just quit and leave his son without taking care of him but that was Nana Aba Anamoah’s decision pure and simple to cut the father off even though the son loves him very much.

Well, we got an exclusive report this evening where all the claims by Mr Brown have been rubbished by a close friend of Nana Aba who knew the man way back when Nana Aba found herself in such a difficult situation recounting the threats and rejection she endured during those times.

The former TV3 presenter who won the award for “Television Newscaster Of The Year (Female Category)”, did something very few celebrities will do, and publicly, at the time.

After she was announced the winner of the category, she walked on stage with a young boy to receive her award, which made everybody wonder who he was and why Nana Aba even decided to come on stage with him.

After she received her award and to everyone’s shock, Nana Aba who looked very emotional introduced the boy to the crowd as her son.

She narrated how she went through difficult times, during her pregnancy and how Paa Kow has been a blessing to her life. She then presented her award to her son live on stage and told him, he has been an inspiration to her and was the reason she worked hard to come that far.

The unexpected and emotional gesture by Nana Aba touched everybody’s heart. Some people in the crowd were seen shedding tears of joy for how proud she is of her son and the fact that she went against all odds to do this publicly.

At the time, her son J.Y Paa Kow Anamoah was eleven years old and her close friends have said Nana Aba Anamoah’s understanding father stood in as a father for her son while her mother helped her overcome the pain and difficulty at the time.

Below is the full account of her bad days where she suffered rejection and threats.

It was an afternoon in the middle of the year 2002, and there at a pub in a Suburb of Accra was a cute 2-3-month-old pregnant young girl who was seriously wailing and crying her heart out about what ‘Richard has done to me’.

She was just an innocent lady, then in secondary school. According to her Richard, whoever he was to her, owner of a boutique (247 Boutique at North Kaneshie) has impregnated her and refused to take responsibility for it. She maintained to her friends who had come to listen and help her, that Richard is the only man she has ever known up to that point but he said he is NOT responsible for the pregnancy.

He sacked her from his place when she went to inform him, vowing to deal with her if she ever mentions his name in relation to any pregnancy again.

The girl, was Nana Aba Anamoah, the mother of the handsome son Paa Kow, who Ghanaians saw for the first time in 2012 at the RTP Awards– and the man, is the same man who today is claiming paternity of his child on social media.

It was the pub, where Nana Aba was crying and wailing that some of her friends suggested abortion to her while one particular friend kicked against the idea. Nana Aba Anamoah herself told them how scared she was about abortion and would want to keep the pregnancy to prove a point if she gets her parent’s support.

One of her friends who was there at that meeting agreed to speak to MyNewGh.com because she was very infuriated about the “social media misconduct of a father who denied his paternity when the child was a foetus”, only to pop up years later to misconduct himself on facebook.

According to this unnamed Nana Aba made several efforts to let Richard Osebo know he is responsible for the pregnancy, and she maintained that he knew it was his, but on all occasions, he refused, even allegedly assaulting her on occasions when she persisted and cried on him.

Again, MyNewsGh.com learnt it was one of Nana Aba Anamoah’s friends who kicked against the abortion option who, knowing Nana Aba’s passion for journalism and how bright she was, promised to help her get into the media and work after her pregnancy.

Nana Aba Anamoah’s friend made a point that “the man claiming to be the father of the son doesn’t even know the hospital his “son” was born in”. “Can he show any picture with his “son”? she asked.

“These are the men who impregnate young girls and deny responsibility only to turn up when they see a promising child”. She said.

But a lot more happened in between when Mr Richard Brown, popularly known as Osebo the Boutique owner, saw the girl he impregnated making waves on TV!
