Actor turned Politician, John Dumelo who is contesting on the ticket of the NDC for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Parliamentary seat has declared that he never said he was broke after he was reported to have made the declaration in an earlier interview.The young political aspirant, either has dementia or is clearly doing what all politicians do, tell lies. The actor declared that he never said anything of that sort after he was reportedly heard calling for financial support to finance his political campaign stating that the NDC primaries has drained him.

He was reported to have said;

I’m broke rough, the campaign has drained my money rough. All the cash I had has been spent on the campaign I have absolutely nothing left on me for the next round of campaigning. I’ll have to look for money elsewhere for that exercise. As I speak with you I’m laying flat on the ground, I need help to get back onto my feet. There will have to be voluntary contributions from my loved ones to see me through the next level of campaigning for the 2020 parliamentary election,”

Denying he ever said that he tweeted;

They said I said I’m broke. They will say I said they said i said I’m broke….ok. If that makes them happy.”

Dumelo has however deleted the tweets, after it became clear that he wasn’t fooling anyone by trying to deny what he had reportedly said.

Is John Dumelo going to be one of those politicians who keeps lying to gullible citizens? Well, only time will tell.
