I distanced myself from Shatta Wale to save my brand – Sista Afia

Songstress Sista Afia who came to be a known brand in the music industry after she featured Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale on her “Jeje” song and her strong affiliation to him has explained her sudden distance from the musician.

For some time now Sista Afia who previously has been all over Shatta Wale all of a sudden stopped getting close to him which made people wonder what could probably be wrong with them.

According to some social media users, Shatta Wale might have finished chopping Sista Afia hence his decision to snub her since he now has nothing to benefit from her again.

But Sista Afia has finally come out to explain why they no longer hang around like previously.

The songstress explained that she doesn’t want to be seen as one of Shatta Wale’s Militants but praised Shatta for giving her the platform to showcase herself and her brand.

“Shatta Wale gave me a lot of platforms; and I was all over him. He supported me but I wanted to be on my own. So I had to distance myself from him so people don’t see me as one of his militants”.
