DKB shares his near-death experience after surviving electrocution in a Guest House

Ghanaians would have woken up to devastating news headlines announcing the sudden passing of popular comedian Derick Kobina Bonney (DKB) if not for the grace of God on him.

According to the stand up comic, he nearly died from electrocution over the weekend when he travelled to the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi, to grace a show.

Narrating the incident, DKB said he had lodged at a guest house ahead of the show. And when he woke up Sunday morning, he got the urge and gut feeling to pray when he woke up – unbeknownst to him, it was a divine signal to save his life from death.

DKB continued that he moved into the bathroom to take his bath after he finished praying, and that was where he had an encounter between life and death.

“I would have died of electrocution today if not for my Lord and savior Jesus Christ,” the caption of the video read. “Please take Jesus Christ seriously, we’re in dangerous times.”

Although he didn’t share in-depth details about the lodge he spent the night, the comedian said he was reserving the vital information about the guest house and would release it at the appropriate time.
