Ebony mum begs media not to stop playing Ebony's song

Mother of the late Dancehall singer Ebony has asked the media not to stop playing her daughter’s song on the radio.

Madam Beatrice Oppong said the only ways to keep memories of her daughter was for the media to keep playing songs of her late daughter.

“I plead with you the people in media not to stop playing her songs”, she told Kofi Adoma Nwanwani.

She also used the interview to shot down rumours that she was not in good terms with her daughter Ebony and ask Ghanaians not to stop spreading false rumours because there were no grudges in her family.

“My daughter and I were very close and I used to come to Ghana twice every year to spend time with her but the nature of her job did not allow us to spend much time together as we would have expected” She said.
